Baptism to me is publicly displaying your faith and religion to your community and friends. Matthew 3:13a talks about when Jesus was being baptized. He was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist (Matt. 3:13b). When he got to the river John tried to deny him and he said Jesus should baptize Him (Matt. 3: 14). He didn’t think he was good enough for Jesus (Matt. 3:15a). He didn’t think that it was his place to be the Baptist in Jesus’ case (Matt. 3:15b).
