Clan controls
A clan, in the traditional sense, is a collection of related families that identify themselves as a common group. For example, the Grant clan of Scotland, who lived originally in the Highlands, were only loosely related to one another, but shared a common heritage and value system. Similarly in business this concept of clan controls can apply across individuals, related departments, regions and entities. At Disney this mechanism is evident in the web-site development and support area of its businesses.
