As we move forward into the 21st century, the United States is going to become more diverse. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the demographic make-up of the U.S. is going to change dramatically by the year 2050. Projections indicate the White population will account for 50% of the population, down from 69% in the year 2000. Hispanics will see the highest growth as they will account for 24% of the population, up from just 12% in 2000.
