Abstract
There is a bi-directional relationship between the media and the government in regards to the David Hicks’ case. In order to test this hypothesis, and prove whether it is right or wrong, I have conducted a thorough research of all the articles that I could find on David Hicks between January 2003 and March 2007. From there I have analysed the contents of those articles, and then divided them into two categories: the media and the government, depending on their contents.
