Doctor Faustus is a man that has great knowledge of many things. A teacher of mathematics and great knowledge in logic, medicine, law, and divinity, brought him to his goal. He is a brilliant man who claims that he has studied almost everything and claims to know all there is to know, bringing himself to dwell in the likes of necromancy. Knowing the stakes of his gamble, Faustus sells his soul to the devil for what he believes to be limitless power. With the ability to conjure spirits, a gift that only God has, and the use of “Black Magic”, Dr. Faustus wants to become equal with God.
