FAITH & REGENERATION

INTRODUCTION
When it comes to faith and regeneration, there are conflicting ideals which has lead to the two main forms of protestant theology--Calvinism and Arminianism. Calvinism, is based on the idea that “while you were still dead in your transgressions, God made you alive with Christ,” and would thus conclude that you are first regenerated and then you are given the gift of faith. On the flip side, Arminianism would say that God’s offer of salvation is open to you, and when you through faith, respond and accept God’s invitation, He gives you a new life or regenerates you.
