1. According to the author’s gay marriage should be allowed to both heterosexual and homosexual couples. They claim that “Marriage is a formal and informal network of extended family, kinship, and friendship…” Also they claim that gay couples make as great of parents as straight couples. However, the statistics they show prove quite the opposite. The authors also claim that gay marriage also does not limit procreation as in today’s society there is artificial insemination, adoption, as well as the winning of custody disputes.
