From WTO report is clearly visible the geographical differentiation of world trade between mature economies (global triad) and the emerging ones.
2.1 Global triad economies
Global triad regions are producing 85 prer cent of world manufacturing output and generate 81 per cent of world merchandise export.
United States of America
with total export of 1606,3 bn$ represents almost 14 per cent of world merchandise export. Most important export and import product groups are automotive products (12,2 per cent, resp. 13,2 pe cent) and ofice and telecom equipment (11,8 per cent, resp. 13,2 per cent).
European Union
Europeann Union is the world biggest exporter. With total export of 4860,3 bn$ represents almost 42,3 per cent of world merchandise export. Most important export and import product groups are chemicals (15 per cent, resp 12,5 per cent), automotive products (11,1 per cent resp. 9,6 per cent) and office and telecom equipment (8,6 per cent, resp. 10,3 per cent).
East and South East Asia
Asian total export of 3197 bn$ represents almost 28 per cent of world merchandise export. Most important export and import product groups are office and telecom equipment (24,4 per cent, resp 18 per cent), chemicals (7,2 per cent resp. 9,3 per cent) and automotive products (6,8 per cent, resp. 3 per cent). There is visible significant difference between Australia, Japan, New Zealand and rest of Asia. For Australia, Japan and New Zealand is most important export and import of automotive products (23 per cent, resp. 8,2 per cent). Whilst for rest of Asia the most important is telecom equipment (33,9 per cent of export and 29,7 per cent of import)
