Groups with Tension
The reason why we have chosen corporate culture shock in the literature of work on pages 48-53 is because we want to share some knowledge about people, rules and organizations that play a role at the workplace. We also want to emphasize some of the things that cause tension in ethics and self-interest.
“Vision, you will have to put more effort into your work if you want to succeed in your carrier,” is what supervisors used to tell us as corporate employees throughout our years in the work force. Even today, these years are very hard for us to reflect back on, though we can remember them with as much ease as if we had experienced them yesterday.
