Homelessness

The aim of this essay is to examine the whole issue of homelessness with a case study from the Luton Borough Council, Housing and Community Living Department as I have been working with them for the past 30days. I will look at the definition of homelessness and the duties owed by the local authority to eligible applicants. This essay will include a description and analysis of the relevant social work processes and theories applied in providing an accommodation for a homeless person and how theory aids my understanding and inform practice.
