Today, companies function in an international marketplace with fierce competition in every industry therefore, maintaining viability is essential and change is constant and non-relenting. For that reason, companies no longer have a choice and in order to survive they must change (Kinicki & Kreitner, 2004) which means InterClean must begin this process immediately. As the industry evolves, InterClean must realize that success is not based on selling products but on providing solutions and services (University of Phoenix, 2007)
The purpose of this paper is to analyze issues facing InterClean and attempt to present optimal solutions based on company findings and results. The problem InterClean faces is overcoming the status quo of doing business that employees have become accustom to and learning to do business in a competitive international marketplace. InterClean is developing a new strategy that will serve new markets and gain valuable skills that will serve the company and individuals collectively (University of Phoenix, 2007). Identifying and implementing the best solution is the optimal goal for InterClean.
