The History of Islam

Islam is monotheistic religion deprived from the teaching of the prophet Muhammad. Islam means “submission to the Will of God.” Islam and Muslim are deprived from the same word from Arabic for “peace.” The traditional Muslim greeting is asa lama lakum meaning “peace be unto you” It is used as a greeting throughout Arabic speaking countries. The proper reply is "wa alaikum asalaam" which means "and peace be upon you."
