WA1 Macro Genre and Narrative.
Kill Bill (2003) was directed by Quentin Tarantino, who also wrote the film alongside Uma Thurman who plays The Bride in the film. The cinematography was done by Robert Richardson and edited by Sally Menke. Alongside Uma Thurman (the bride) stars Lucy Liu (O-ren Ishii), Vivica A. Fox (Vernita Green) and David Carradine (Bill)
Kill Bill tends to be classed as an action film, but after studying the film I think that Quentin Tarantino has Created his own genre. I do see how it can be called an action film because of the fights, but when I think of other action films I don’t think of samurai fights, I think of car chases, fist fights and stunts....
