Once upon a time there was a huge explosion that scientist now call the BIG-BANG. The big-bang formed stars, clouds and other material, and made our solar system. Our solar system is made up of 9 planets and a star called the Sun. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Inside you will find facts about the 9 planets.
MERCURY
Is about the same size as the Moon.
Is the closest planet to the Sun.
Is covered with mountains, craters, ridges and valleys.
Mercury does not have a Moon.
