Abstract
The purpose of this document is to describe organizational structure of Good Sport and describe the power structure and politics. This document will present different strategies in order to manage resistance to change and the best strategy for the case.

"A manager needs to understand the interdependency of departments, internal partnerships, and the influence of power and politics to effectively manage across the organization. Effective managers use various political tactics to increase their power within the organization to coordinate and support the work of their peers and subordinates to meet company objectives. These tactics are usually adopted when there is a conflict over the best structure to adopt, best use of available resources, and the like. This conflict is further aggravated when carious types of personalities are teamed in an organization." (Managing across the organization scenario, 2008)
Good Sport is a fitness equipment manufacturing company. The company is based out of Coral Springs, Florida, and specializes creating innovative fitness equipment such as bikes, steppers, rowers and treadmills. The company was found 15 years ago by an ex-basketball star, Jason Poole.
