Marijuana Legalization
Since AD 1155, Cannabis (or hemp) has been discovered, used and abused. It was first used as an intoxicant. It was not until the second half of the 18th century did cannabis start to appear in dispensatories, textbooks used by pharmacists and physicians. Nowadays, Cannabis (also called marijuana) is the most widely used illegal drug in the United States. Marijuana (also referred to as pot or weed) should remain illegal for many reasons; such as: marijuana is a gateway drug and can lead to other more dangerous drugs, police must make thousands of arrests each year due to possession of the drug, it hurts people who use it and those around...
