The Mayan and Aztec tribes were similar in their mysterious and remarkable rituals and beliefs. Both the Mayans and Aztecs were American Indian people who developed magnificent civilizations in Central America. Their cultures were both advanced in technology, yet grotesque in their rituals and beliefs. Both tribe’s ways of life, religion, government, family and social life, warfare and history all affected the culture’s rituals and beliefs that governed their societies.
