Introduction
There are many reasons behind pursuing MBA. First, the career opportunity that becomes available within or outside the work environment. Second reason is the gained knowledge and skills to survive in the corporate world. Third, is to achieve knowledge in order to obtain a leadership role and work in a team environment. The management skills that one receives will assist in resolving complicated matters in efficient and timely manner.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is offered at many colleges, in classroom and online. It's sub-categorized into many fields, which allow individuals to focus on whatever subject they desire. MBA equals to success, which is achieved by hard work and dedication. I have always looked at the corporate world growing up and pondered if I would ever get there. The rewards achieved from MBA and the choices you are given are great, which is one of the reasons why I decided to pursue my MBA. I always have dream to get an MBA degree in Technology Management and achieve success in my career.
My Background
I have Bachelors in Accountancy degree from India. I have also cleared Chartered Accountancy (CA) Part 1 (same as CPA here). However, I didn't get a chance to complete my Final Year in CA. After coming here, I did apply to Rutgers for Bachelors in Accounting (as I wanted to start from the beginning). They gave me credits equivalent to BS in Accounting. Around that time I got a Job opportunity in AT&T in Networking Department (Data/IP services) as a Network Engineer. To perform my job more efficiently, I passed MCSE and CCNA certification exams. However, there is always an urge to continue my career in MBA
