Introduction
An effective manager must understand how to motivate those working with them. Finding the right role for an employee as well as motivation to stir them can be a complicated charge. No longer will a cookie-cutter approach produce effective results. Optimal employee performance demands knowing who they are and want they want. To help find the “who” and the “wants” we will look at what type of needs one may have and the importance it plays in motivation. We will also explore personality types and see why it is important to place the right individual in the right role for the best outcome.
