Political (Dis)Honesty
Honesty: the quality or fact of being honest. Politicians constantly declare that they will be honest and trustworthy, yet many times this has not been the case. Although several political scandals have been controversial, they undoubtedly make voters question the integrity of our leaders. As a country we put all of our faith into our politicians in hope that they will lead us to a better quality of life. But, why does the voting public feel our political leaders are so dishonest? Incidents in our history have molded the current view that voters have of their statesmen.
