Introduction

Since September 11th, 2001 many things have changed. The American Government modified many immigration laws in order to improve the security and to stop more terrorists from coming into the country. As a consequence of that the numbers of immigrants coming to the United States of America has decreased. Despite those actions taken by the Government, one number has increased. The number of Chinese immigrants coming to the United States applying for political Asylum due to the one-child policy. And less then 1% of these applications are being denied by the Government.
