Silicon Arts, Inc. (Silicon) is a manufacturer of digital integrated circuits which are used in various electronic equipment such as digital cameras, DVD players and computers. Silicon's major sales are in North America. The four year-old company's sales grew to $180 million a year. However, in 2001 because of an industry slowdown revenues fell by 40 percent.
