Rosewood, based on true events and written by Gregory Poirier, raises the question of where one’s loyalty truly lies. Is a person’s loyalty strongest to one’s religion, one’s race or ethnicity, one’s country, or one’s socioeconomic status? Rosewood explores this question in great depth throughout the movie.
