“The ‘T’ in LGBT, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender is no longer just an add-on; this really is the new frontier” (Transgender Movement Emerging from Shadows 3). The transgender movement is what transgender people are doing to become a part of society and what society is doing to allow transgender people to be a part of society as their changed selves. To be a transgender is to exhibit the appearance and behavioral characteristics of the opposite sex. In sexual identity for a transgender it is man to woman or woman to man. In the first case then they use terms such as she. This person is not gay nor is a woman to man a lesbian....
