Teamwork
\Topic sentence: Communication can either make or break a team. Within the topic of Team Dynamics, the sub topic, Team Communication, has a strong influence on the outcome of a team's accomplishment of their duties. A team, by definition, is a number of people associated with one another in joint action to accomplish a goal. On any scale, lack of communication within a group of people, specifically a team, can really break down the strength of that group. It can make members of the group feel distraught and disorientated, which will defeat the purpose of the group. Communication when it comes to team dynamics is crucial. The different people working together make teamwork harder to accomplish because of different personalities. There will be some people within the group that work well with others, but don't work well with someone else in the group. There are others within the group, that doesn't seem to see eye to eye. The challenge of a team that is lacking in the communication area to accomplish a common goal is, to put aside their differences in order to work together and get the task done. Thesis: Working in a team, in accordance to human behavior, can have more negative effects than positive effects within the lines of communication that can therefore hinder the team from accomplishing their goals.
When there are two or more people working together to accomplish a task assigned to them, all voices and opinions must be heard. As a result of this, all ideas can be laid on the table and will then be open for debate. The effects of human behavior might cause one to attempt to overpower the other but, without being able to work together as a team, the team will fall apart. The debate will end in certain ideas being set aside for use and other thrown out altogether but as long as those lines of communication remain open, the team can come to an agreement on how to accomplish their goal.
