Abraham Lincoln; when his name is said, what do you think of? This wonderful character had the bravery, knowledge, courage, and determination needed to guide this country through the Civil War and to abolish slavery simultaneously but secretly.
Lincoln's life seemed to be a constant stand to where this man had to use his bravery to go through his life. His speeches are not out of the ordinary either. He had such powerful speeches with so little words. Then he would eventually give his speech to thousands of citizens. Abe was the person whom is, as I know, a hero. You want to know why? Well because he seems to given hope to you and I about the future with his thoughtful speeches. His bravery was needed to write those speeches, to present them to the public, then to perform his loyalty to the extent of death.
Abraham Lincoln is one who knows best for his country. He had lead us through a war, depressions and even slavery? He always thought about the future and what effect his decisions also. This man who which grew up poor was one of the greatest presidents in The United States of America! Lincoln has always used his knowledge instead of a quick guess upon a nerve racking period in time. Abe also believed in what The Founding Fathers wanted in this country.
Now you may know how a president's speech may be long, tiring, and forgetful. Well Abraham Lincoln's speeches were not long, nor hard to understand, or even difficult to not get lost in! That's why everyone loved his speeches. Plus his speeches got right to the point. He used words that now he famous for and more than likely will always be. Then we have presidents that hire someone to write their speeches. Nope, not Abraham Lincoln. He wrote with his soul, unlike most other presidents.
