(TQM) is a business management methology that aligns the activities of all employees in an organization with the common focus of customer satisfaction to be achieved through continuous improvement in the quality of all activities processes, goods and services." (Burrill 1999) Total Quality management can also be described as constant opinion from employees such as first level management and middle managers. Total Quality Management obligations have a different requirement for each organization. All types of organizations can profit from Total Quality management it give employees a purpose and accountability to see that that the company or organization has a good outcome.
The impact of globalization on quality, globalization makes quality Total Quality Management happens. When companies grow there is an increasing demand for just in time management which Total Quality Management embraces in most cause just in time management make thing move faster and more efficient, further making the impact of globalization positive in all aspects. Globalization and Total quality Management is a way of removing bottlenecks in production resulting in high quality and return. Globalization helps things to move faster and efficient with quality as the main focus for higher return on the product. The global market is a competitive market and the Total quality Management philosophy is embraced in globalization.
