Wizard Of Oz And The Theme If Escapism

“There’s no place like home” is a saying that many people may correlate with and in The Wizard of Oz there are many archetypal themes such as the dream of escape, the dream of return and the dual appeal of home and away (Marx’s notes on The Wizard of Oz, VULA, 2008-03-25).
