TAKS the one test that no kid likes and never wants to take. TAKS is given to students for the first time in the third grade. Although teachers make TAKS a big deal the first time it actually counts is in your junior year. As a junior you must pass all portions of the TAKS test to graduate high school. Texas Education System makes passing the test your junior year such a big deal, and say that if students do not pass them we are not ready for college. Then should students not have to pass the TAKS every year? It does not make sense to have to pass a test to graduate when it does not help you get into college.
Throughout the years kid might not take the test seriously...
