Developmental Dyslexia

Researchers have characterized developmental dyslexia as an etiologically and functionally heterogeneous clinical condition (Ellis, 1985; Jorm, 1979) that nonrandomly aggregates in families with some subtypes having a genetic etiology (Finnucci, Guthrie, Childs, Abbey, & Childs, 1976).
