On a terribly ugly day in July, I was driving home from doing community service. I smelled like a dirty horse, like manure and hay. I was thinking to myself, “man, I want to get home and take a shower.” Little did I know, it would take longer to get home than I had planned.
I had just left the rancid horse stables, when it began to pour down rain out of the scary black clouds. While I was cruising down the road, driving as slow as a turtle because of the heavy downfall of rain, a truck swerved into my lane. Screech! I slammed on my brakes, but I wasn’t quick enough. The huge white truck smashed into the side of my car.
