Radio Frequency Identification (also known as Dedicated Short Range Communication - DSRC) is a technology that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency (RF) portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify an object, animal, or person.
