Ten years ago, children watched television as a way to usually wind down before their bed time after a long day of playing outside. Today, kids are often put in front of the television for a much longer period of time, not as a way of gaining simple entertainment, but often told by the children’s parents to do so. Therefore, the parents can amuse their children easily and at least they know where their children are. This has led to many things such as child obesity and a lack of parent to child connection. With shows on television that are not suitable for children, a parent should watch the shows with their children or at least supervise the programs they are watching. This would...
