The three approaches I have chosen for managing resistances are education and communication, participation, and facilitation and support. With the education and communication, I would allow the nurses to communicate with each other on how and why they feel that their jobs are more difficult than the others are. I would also allow them to communicate their opinions of the changes of working in other areas. At this point, I would take the information that is supplied and create an education program that will help all the nurses.
