Alternative Dispute Resolution

Introduction
Is litigation always necessary? Absolutely not, alternative dispute resolution is the use of another method of resolving disputes without litigation. Some of the methods are arbitration, mediation, fact finding, and the use of a judicial referee. The majority of all cases are solved using one of these methods rather than a time consuming and expensive litigation trial. The case being reviewed is that of City of Madrid, Iowa and EMC Insurance Companies vs. Angela Blasnitz.
