Overfishing is the practice of commercial and non-commercial fishing which depletes a fishery by catching so many adult fish that not enough remain to breed and replenish the population. Overfishing exceeds the carrying capacity of a fishery. Overfishing is a non-sustainable use of the ocean. The practice of overfishing will result in the extinction of marine life and the destruction of our oceans habitats. In order to stop or at least slow down this environmental and economical catastrophe a sustainment plan and must be made and action must be taken.
