Research And Decision Making

The globalization of business is seen by many organizations as an opportunity to expand their wealth through the integration of their products and services in new international markets. Large-emerging economies such as China and India have presented an enormous opportunity for expansion of operations; hence, increasing revenue for many firms. This is the goal that CoffeeTime is currently gearing towards achieving. The company is committed to developing a marketing research for its proposed market expansion in India. The overall objective of the research is to obtain detailed data for business expansion through the gathering of secondary and primary data. Whether a business owner intends to expand his or her business to a new area or introduce a new product to a specific market, conducting an accurate marketing research can provide valuable insight to help the business and prevent costly missteps as experienced by USA World Bank (University of Phoenix, 2007). Additionally, the learning team will explain how the limitations of the data collected by CoffeeTime affect the validity and reliability of the data. Furthermore, the team will be providing recommendations on additional data that would be beneficial in selecting locations in India for the development of its outlets. The team will be also providing recommendations on decision-making strategies to CoffeeTime as Business Development Managers. Finally, the team will identify three constraints placed on CoffeeTime and how those constraints should be addressed.
Success depends on many things, but when information is provided about a...
