Myself

SAUNDIE, a teenage girl, slowly appears from stage right alone. She is wearing a red shirt, dark blue jeans, and a pair of pumps. The clicking sound made by her heels on the hollow floor echo in the shallow theater. A spotlight follows her across the stage and you observe that she has short curly brown hair and big brown eyes. In her hands is a pair of glasses and what looks like an orange with a stem. The audience watches her as she casually walks to center stage. SAUNDIE sits down cross-legged places the “orange” next to her and puts her glasses on. She examines the audience for a little bit,
focuses on the ground, then re-directs her attention back at the audience.)
