Modern Modest Proposal

It is ridiculous to most, myself included, to spend every day worrying about our nation's security. Through the years the American homeland has become a popular target for threats and attacks by many other countries around the world. Being a major power on the global scale gives other countries reason to believe we are a threat. However, as we have shown many times before, we only retaliate. We won't mess with you unless you mess with us.
I think most Americans will agree that by now we should be able to feel safe in our own country. Why should we live every day in fear when we are citizens of one of the greatest nations? There should be an easy and cheap way of fixing the problem in a way that can be helpful to all and whoever can find this method should be greatly rewarded.
However, my intentions are not only beneficial to Americans, but my proposal shall benefit men and women of all ages from all around the world. My proposal will get right to the point and address the issue at hand. America has been the target of self-righteous, petty, inconsiderate countries for years. In order to make themselves feel important and powerful, they attack.
My proposal will benefit other countries in a similar position, not just American, countries who have worked their butts off for centuries to become so powerful. Smaller countries, not so powerful, gladly put forth the little power they hold in order to be an ally with such a powerful nation. This fact has been proven several times in war. People flock to power. The power just needs to stand up united.
Now, I propose total and irreversible destruction to those less willing to give in. If they won't give in, what good are they complaining and having suicide bombers take their fight? What a great nuisance they are to the world, killing innocent civilians. If they would like to continue killing innocent people, then we should fix the problem and kill them.
