Cheating at Online Colleges
It’s common among faculty and students to believe that academic cheating is easier and more prevalent in online courses because cheating is hard to prevent when web-based exams are given. Students have been cheating their way through college for years and it just became a little easier with online enrollment. . Even though it seems counter-productive to have on line students come to a campus to be tested, it maybe what is needed when a computers separate the teacher form the student. How convenient to have one’s classes readily available with little or no supervision. To slip under the RADAR is so easy. Who would find out? Why would anyone want to...
