Abstract
This paper represents an Art Commission Statement, as issued by the Interfaith Panel, in relationship to the newly built Christian and Jewish Interfaith Cultural and Historical Center. The primary purpose of the Art Commission Statement is to identify and describe a symbol that best represents both religions and to lay the groundwork for a sculpture's design, erection and permanent display in the building's lobby. The panel diligently researched both religions, unanimously decided upon a symbol, and is now seeking an artist to accept the commission. This document provides the details and research that lead to the panel's decisions.
