EBay was founded in 1995 and is known as “The World’s Online Marketplace”. Similar to Lester Electronics, eBay grew rapidly by adding additional components to its business. The company enables trade on a local, national and international basis by having customized websites in the market all around the world. EBay’s key growth opportunities spread across three major business areas, the United States, International and a joint venture with PayPal.
