Homelessness is not confined to the world’s poorest countries. In every country,
including even the wealthiest, people can find themselves without shelter for a long
period of time. This can be caused by structural factors such as natural disasters,
unemployment, poverty and individual factors such as personal problems.
Homelessness is a reality for many people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds
