Integrity In my experience in the workforce, integrity is the key to success. Saying what you will do and then doing what you say earns your customers business. By offering this level of service in my business I was able to compete for and win clients because of the level of integrity my company was known for. Integrity is at the top of this list because it is the most important value I consider when making decisions. I want my words and decisions to be fleshed out and demonstrated by the action I take. Integrity is basically defined as "soundness of moral character" (www.dictionary.com). I understand that moral character can be subjective and vary based on each individual's personal values. I am being fairly general here. Integrity for me is keeping my word, going the extra mile for a customer and always trying to deliver a better than promised product, sooner than it was promised. This is what I work towards, it doesn't always happen, but that's the goal in my workplace and decision making.
Customer satisfaction In our current marketplace the old adage of the customer always being right no longer always applies. I have seen all too often a business considering its own needs over the needs of its customers. An example of this happened to me just a few days ago. I was having some trouble with my wireless router connection to my modem.
