Loved Raged Revenge
The lost of a love one can enrage any man. William Shakespeare loses his son Hamnet in 1596, most likely do to the plague, and father on September 8, 1601. William’s love for them both was great. Writing Hamlet was William’s way to deal with his pain. Not being able to revenge his son from the plague, and father from his death William came up with the plot for Hamlet. Love supports revenge as the main theme because Hamlet sacrifices his love for Ophelia and his mother in order to pursue his revenge, primarily because of his love of his father drives his revenge.
Hamlet’s love is a powerful thing, but revenge, drives Hamlet's love into a raging inferno....
