Organizational Culture
Organizational culture is a system of shared values, assumptions, beliefs, and norms that unite the members of an organization (University of Phoenix, 2007). Three levels of corporate culture are visible culture, expressed values and core values. Visible culture is anyone outside of an organization can hear, feel or see. One of the aspect of visible culture is how people dress. KFF has policy about personal appearance for its employees. KFF employee should be clean, well groomed, and wear appropriate clothes during business hours or whenever representing KFF. Expressed values are the way managers and employees explain and justify their actions and decisions. KFF is committed to employee recognition and awards outstanding employees with associate of the month, store associate of the year and company associate of the year. KFF management believes that its happy employees are important part of their success. Core beliefs are widely shared and are not negotiable. KFF is committed to provide the finest selection of the very best foods and wines to customers. One of the highest priorities at KFF is to help any customer or potential customer. Nothing is more important than being courteous, friendly, prompt, and helpful to customers at KFF. KFF believes that good customer relations can build greater customer loyalty and increased profits.

The culture of an organization evolves over time and influenced by the beliefs and philosophy of the organization’s founders (University of Phoenix, 2007).
